JoAnn Katherine Jordan, 80, Spooner, passed away on September 23, 2023.

JoAnn was born September 10, 1943, in Spooner to Mathias and Evelyn Reiter. On April 1, 1967, she married Harold Jordan in Spooner, WI. After their nuptials, they relocated to Harold’s hometown of Nampa, ID where they raised their children, Micki and David.

JoAnn was a hard-working woman who never knew a stranger. For many years, she was a stay at home wife and mother. Once her children were independent enough, she started working and enjoyed many jobs where she could interact with people. She enjoyed many years at the St. Francis DeSales where she appreciated and respected services. JoAnn was a very outgoing and happy go lucky woman. There was nothing she couldn’t do if she put her mind to it and no-one she would turn away if she could help them or simply make them smile. She loved her family and making others feel special. JoAnn was such a good mother and the best grandmother in the world.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Eugene Reiter, RoseMary Reiter, Delores Reiter, Duane Reiter, Marilyn Chizek, Constance Agen, and ex-husband Harold Jordan.

JoAnn is survived by her daughter Michele (Micki) Plummer and her son David Jordan, both from Idaho. Her brothers, Mathew Reiter, Robert Reiter, and Kenneth Reiter and a sister, Patricia Reiter. She also had 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the Spooner Funeral Home on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 2:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior. A burial at the Calvary Cemetery will follow the service.
