Jerry LaMoine Berg Age 82, of Rice Lake, WI, died Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his home.

He was born on August 27, 1939 in Rice Lake to Elmer and E. Luella (Peterson) Berg.

Jerry graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1958 and then entered the United States Army and was later Honorably Discharged. Jerry was a dairy farmer and logger for many years. He was married to Rosemary Welch on October 7, 1966 in Rice Lake. He loved working on his tractors, watching western movies, hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors.

He is survived by a son, Chad (Vicky) Berg; 3 daughters, Kelly (John) Nickel, Tammy Maruska and Jody Berg (Doug Ward); 8 grandchildren, Dalton, Kyler, John, Michael, Natalee, Khloe, Jerald and Vicky Rose; 2 brothers, Richard and David Berg; a sister, Cheryl (Dean) Albrecht; 2 sisters-in-law, Gayle (Kevin) Bartz and Linda Tande; many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary; a son, Gerald; a sister, Patricia; 3 infant brothers, Elmer Jr., LeRoy and Larry.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Friday, March 4, 2022 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, with interment in Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held from 9-11AM Friday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
