Jerome Joseph Funches, 65, of Rice Lake passed away, April 18, 2024, at University of Medicine Madison WI. He was born July 29, 1959, in Milwaukee, WI to William Manning and Josephine Funches. He was married in Clear Lake in July of 2007 to Margaret Butcher, and together they shared 17 years.

Jerome loved and took great pride in being a dad to his three children. He enjoyed spending time working in the garden with Margaret cultivating many vegetables and fruits. He also enjoyed working on his various home renovations.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children: Elizabeth, Juquan, and Matthew; siblings; and many friends. Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, and several siblings.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake.
