In Memory of Jeanette J. Niemann
Jeanette Jane Niemann, 93, of Turtle Lake died October 24, 2023, at Care and Rehab-Cumberland.
She was born September 26, 1930, in Amery, WI to Fred and Louise (Reyer) Jeske. She was married in on May 14, 1949, to Robert Niemann who preceded her in death on October 25, 1990.
Jeanette was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Church in Turtle Lake. A gentle, sweet woman who deserved a peaceful passing and was blessed with a loving family.
Being a “Daughter of Depression” she grew, cooked, baked, canned and froze most of the family’s food. She was an excellent housekeeper and a meticulous seamstress. She loved nature, color, flowers, but most of all art. Jeanette loved to sketch, paint crafts, work with stain glass and refinish furniture. Her family will work to carry forward her legacy of artistic talent, waste not, work hard, demand little of others and do so with spirit, respect and grace.
Those who treasure her life is her family and her spirit will be carried on by them. We all have been blessed to have known her and will hold her in our hearts always.
She is survived by son, Bradley Niemann of Baldwin; two daughters, Lynnette (Sheldon) Fredrick of Turtle Lake, and Tammy (Steve) Vucenic of Rice Lake; daughters-in-law: Paula and Sherri; grandchildren: Sarah (Kevin) Hayden, Trevor (Nayomi) Niemann, Kirsten (Matt) Sloan, Meg (Vinnie) Lepak, Amanda (Jeremy) Schradle, Lish (Matt) Olson, Kevin Niemann Jr., Jeremy (Nikki) Vucenic, and Garrett (Allysa) Vucenic; great grandchildren: Tatiana Thompson, Zachary Sloan, Evelyn Sloan, Andrew Schradle, Abigail Schradle, Alexander Schradle, Cecilia Olson, Jaxon Vucenic, Jordan Vucenic, Grady Vucenic, and Bria Vucenic; three great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
