Jeanette Ann (Andrews) Hurtis, 87, of Chetek, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Heritage Lakeside Nursing Home in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Jeanette was born on October 10, 1934 in Merrillan, Wisconsin the daughter of Sarah and George Andrews.

Jeanette was a produce farmer, she enjoyed raising the produce and visiting with her customers. She enjoyed picking mushrooms, gardening, going to the casino, playing cards, dancing, canning and old time music. She loved animals, particularly her dogs. Jeanette will be dearly missed.

She leaves to celebrate her memory: her sons, David Hurtis, Barron, WI; Gary (Corrine Anderson) Hurtis, Chetek, WI; and Jerry (Cindy Davis) Hurtis, Chetek, WI, son-in-law, Roger Butterfield, New Auburn, WI; grandchildren: Michael, Kim (Rod) and Kristy (Chris), great-grandchildren: Ethan, Lilly, Kate, Maddy and Kyle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah and George, her husband, Arthur Hurtis, daughter, Debbie Butterfield, grandsons, Steven and Kyle and 10 siblings.

The funeral service for Jeanette will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Chetek Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Twin Lake Cemetery in Chippewa County following the service.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Chetek has been entrusted with arrangements.
