In Memory of Jane F. Lindenfelser
Jane Francis Lindenfelser, age 74, died peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2023 (or Friday, March 31), at Monroe Manor in Barron after suffering a stroke.
Jane was born on September 7, 1948, at home in Lampson, WI to parents Matthew and Mildred (Tilton) Lindenfelser. She attended the one room Lampson School until it was consolidated with the Spooner School District, where she completed her schooling. She later attended Ventures where she enjoyed being with her friends, making crafts, and working, (putting together screw packs and getting paid).
A few of her proudest moments were: winning ribbons at the county fair talent contest, participating in the softball throw and bowling with the Barron County Special Olympics. She loved reading to her nieces and nephews, playing bingo, listening to music, doing crossword puzzles while looking up the answers in the back of the book.
While living at Monroe Manor, she participated in many if not all planned activities. She attended church services where she loved singing and listening to the readings of the Bible. Jane had many dear friends at Monroe Manor and will be missed by them all.
She is survived by her sister Joan (Ed) Smith, niece Kim (Charlie) Timmers/Kinnick, nephews Jason (Dawn) Smith, Jody Lindenfelser, and many great nieces, nephews. Classmate and dear friend Donnie Peterson, and her Monroe Manor family.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents Matthew Lindenfelser, Mildred Lindenfelser, and brothers: Joe, Jim, and Jeff Lindenfelser.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Lampson Cemetery.
Memorials in her honor can be made to Barron County Special Olympics or St. Croix Hospice.
