James Lyle Loken II “J.R.”, 63, of Cumberland passed away unexpectedly at home on July 15, 2023.

He was born March 3, 1959 in Spring Lake Park, MN to James Lyle and Beverley (Torgeson) Loken.

In 1987, J.R. met his future wife, Tina, who he married in 1996. They shared many happy years together fishing, hunting, watching football (especially the Minnesota Vikings) and riding the Harley. Their travels took them to many years of memories, also with family and friends.

He will be greatly missed by wife, Tina; sons, Anthony Pinnerud and Joseph Loken; grandchildren, Abigail, Carter, Breezlyn, Annabelle; siblings, Scott Loken, Gary (Jackie) Loken, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Loken Sr. and Beverly Loken; sisters, Lynn, Connie and Kelly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, beginning at 2 PM at Dales Twin Pine Tavern.

Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
