DONNELLY James J., age 98, of Balsam Lake, WI, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Sept 23, 2023.

Survived by his loving bride Marilyn, of 71 years.

He will be deeply missed by his children Mark, Micky (Frank) Palewicz, Kathleen, Maureen, Jimmy (Deb), 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchild. Jim was known for his quick wit, scary stories, Irish blarney, and mandatory Sunday dinners. Jim proudly served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Wisconsin.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial October 9th, 2023, at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Balsam Lake Wisconsin, 507 W Main St, Balsam Lake, WI 54810.

Visitation 10:00 am, Mass 11:00 am. Please join the family for lunch and fellowship in the church fellowship hall following the service.

He will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
