James Albert "Jim" Waite, 68, of Cumberland, WI passed away at home on June 14, 2024. He was born December 4, 1955 in Cumberland ,WI to Harold and Arlene Waite.

Jim was known for his love of sports and especially for his helpful hand for friends and family with TV or computer problems. He was always the life of get-togethers with his quick wit and amazing memory for jokes. He took pride in organizing yearly class reunions for many years. The last twenty years he took pride in adopting elderly dogs from the humane society to give them a home as he knew most of the older dogs were not adopted.

Jim is survived by his sister, Judy (Waite) Owen of Almena. Aunt Carol Asp of Turtle Lake, WI, Aunt Mary Waite of Cumberland, cousins and dear friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Harold A Waite and Arlene (Nelson) Waite. Private family Interment will be held at a later date with burial at Lakeside Cemetery in Cumberland.
