In Memory of Jack P. Frisch


October 22, 1934 - January 31, 2023

Jack Peter Frisch, age 88, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in the loving home of Kara and Randy McCarrell, holding his daughter Kara’s hand with Randy by her side.

Jack was born October 22, 1934, in Hayward, the son of Mark and Agnes (Petroski) Frisch. He married Yvonne Nyback, his high school sweetheart, truly the love of his life. It was an extraordinary love story. Jack and Yvonne moved to the Milwaukee area where they established Frisch Weatherstip Company. They ran their business as a team effort, eventually retiring back home to Hayward. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, boating, gardening, hunting partridge, feeding the birds, watching the deer, playing cards and miniature golf. During the past few years, he especially loved to play Connect Four with his family and caregivers and he typically ended up winning!

He is survived by his son Steve (Davelle) Frisch of Nashotah, WI; daughters Heidi (Patrick) Stangl of Oconomowoc, WI, & Kara (Randy) McCarrel of Boise, ID; grandchildren David, Michael, Jackie, Joey, Ross & Emma; great grandchildren Kaiya, Carter, Carson, Colten, Jaxon, Avorie, Layla & Wyatt.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne; son David Peter; his parents; and brother, Mark Frisch.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, at Spider Lake Church in Hayward. Pastor Gary Hilgendorf will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. A luncheon will be held at Spider Lake Church immediately following the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward following the lunch.

Casket bearers will be David Frisch, Michael Frisch, Joey Henrichs, Randy McCarrel, Patrick Stangl and Ross Taylor.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Northwoods Humane Society, P.O. Box 82, Hayward, WI 54843
