In Memory of Heidi D. Glaser
Heidi Dawn Glaser, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on November 4th, 2022 at her home in Eau Claire, WI.
Heidi was born on October 22, 1984 to Kevin and Virginia (Wardon) Glaser at Myrtle Werth Hospital in Menomonie, WI.
She was baptized and confirmed at United Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm, WI and graduated from Prairie Farm High School with the class of 2003. Throughout her adulthood she worked and made lifelong friends at Andersen Windows in Menomonie and Nestle in Eau Claire. If you knew Heidi, you loved Heidi. She had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up any room. She talked to everyone, and everyone became her friend. She was a local favorite everywhere she went, even if she wasn’t a local. Heidi was the family's rock. Her unique personality alone strengthened the bond that endures today. As the baby of the family, she was fortunate to go on many memorable trips with her parents, and accumulated a large collection of shot glasses. The time she spent deer hunting every fall with her Dad was extremely special to her. Heidi cherished all of her adventures with her big sisters, from childhood and beyond. Childhood spent in a rural location allowed her to create strong and unbreakable ties with her many cousins on the Wardon farm. The stories of their shenanigans are endless, and very entertaining. Heidi's nieces and nephews were dear to her heart, and she never missed a chance to let them know. She made a huge impact on all of their lives, and always made time with them extra special. Heidi had the well deserved title of favorite auntie, and every one of them adored her and knew they could count on her for anything. Heidi had friends and stories from every walk of life and she loved her friends unconditionally; her loyalty was unwavering. She loved her casino and bingo trips, kayaking and vacations with her family and friends. Heidi spent many weekends the past several years camping at Red Rock in Birchwood. She made so many friends in the area, and always had a story to tell. We must not forget to mention Heidi's strong dedication and loyalty to the Minnesota Vikings. She made sure everyone knew it, and wasn’t afraid to make a bet regardless of the odds. Heidi enjoyed stopping in for a Busch Light anywhere and typically left with a new shirt and can koozie, along with a few new friendships.
