Gerry (Gary) Dean Anderson, age 88, passed away peacefully with family by his side on August 31st at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

He was born in Rice Lake to Earl and Hulda (Stokes) Anderson on December 27th, 1933.

He married Lois Thompson on February 23, 1961.

He had several jobs throughout his years, and he eventually retired from Jerome's Turkey Store as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, tinkering in the garage, and kicking back with a cold beer. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by three sons, Todd, Tom (Tina), and Les; two grandchildren, Jessica (Ben) Schinke, and Benjamin; one great-grandchild, Theodore Schinke; sister-in-law, Dorothy Anderson; and brother and sister-in-law, Ed (Marla) Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and also, brothers and sisters.

A special thanks to Pioneer Care and Rehab in Prairie Farm for his great care where Gerry spent his last years.

Per Gerry's wishes, there will be no services.

Arrangements are being provided by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
