Geraldine “Jerry” Barbara (Linden) Albrecht Age 101, of Rice Lake, WI, died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in Rice Lake.

She was born on April 13, 1922 in Clear Lake, WI to Clarence and Mildred (Brandt) Linden.

Jerry graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1939 and was married to K. Fred Albrecht on September 18, 1945 at Grace Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. Two daughters were born to them, Barbara and Susan. Fred was in the United States Navy for 27 years and the family lived in many different locations around the world during this time. They settled in Rice Lake following retirement in 1971. Jerry loved playing bridge with her friends several times a week and also enjoyed sewing, camping and fishing.

She is survived by 2 grandsons, David Hall and Jon (Billie Jo) Hall; 4 great grandchildren, Jon “JT” Thomas Hall, Gavin Hall, Raven (John) Giglio and Krista Hall (River Weidler); 4 great great grandchildren, Novalee Giglio, Johnny Giglio, Lyla Weidler and Quinn Weidler; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Albrecht; 2 daughters, Barbara Hall and Susan McIntyre; her parents, Clarence and Mildred Linden; a brother, Leon (Marion) Linden; and 3 sisters, Lucinda (Henry) Klawitter, Betty (Melvin) Milius and Beverly (Ramon) Mitchell. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Friday, November 10, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rice Lake, Jane Snowden officiating, with interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
