Gary Wayne Reinitz, age 75, of Almena passed away on June 29, 2024 at Monroe Manor in Barron. He was born August 1, 1948 in Windom, MN to Charles and Darlene (Polzin) Reinitz.

Gary was married in Maple Grove, MN on November 22, 1986 to Sharon Smith. The two enjoyed life to the fullest, with their family and their many friends. Together they ran a daycare business out of their home, which they were very passionate about. In addition to his love for others, he had a special love for The Green Bay Packers. He was also a proud United States Marine, and, in his younger years, was known for his skills at short stop.

He is survived by wife, Sharon of Almena and her children, Dale (Vicki) Hansen of Maple Grove, MN; Vickie (John) Wilmes of Maple Grove, MN, and Robert (Lori) Hansen of Elk River, MN; 9 grandchildren, Chris, John, Jeff, Jacob, Tiffany, Bobby, Joe, Jack and Jenna; 15 great-grandchildren (and one on the way); mother, Darlene Reinitz of Minnetonka; brothers, Steve (Anita) Reinitz of Andover; Mark (Patti) Reinitz of Eden Prairie; sister, Kathleen (Tom) Burnside of Bloomington.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Charles Reinitz.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Skinner Funeral Home, 260 Industrial Ave. Turtle Lake, WI. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow the service at their home on Turtle Lake.
