In Memory of Frank M. Hadley


March 20, 1952 - November 4, 2024

Frank Mike Hadley returned to his one true God on November 4, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Duluth, Minnesota, in the loving arms of his wife, after a brief battle with cancer.

Mike was placed in the embrace of Patricia Hadley (Totsch) and Frank Hadley on March 20, 1952, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

His faith in the Lord started in his youth when attending St. Joseph’s school and served as an altar boy at St. Mark’s.

Mike moved to Hayward, Wisconsin in 1967 when his family relocated to own and operate Round Lake Marina. After it sold, he went on to create M&M Rental in May of 1983.

Throughout the 40 years of ownership, he grew M&M Rental to become one of the premiere rental destinations in the Northwoods. He retired in 2022, after selling Jacob and Jessica Hadley the business.

At the age of 15, Mike got on his first motorcycle with music in tow, he rode through life for adventure. He Loved to hunt, fish, waterski, downhill ski, go to museums and zoos. He enjoyed the beauty of nature and was always taking photos. You could find him tinkering in his colorful gardens, and outfitting and his garage “mancave” with his wild Bluejay “dragon.”

On August 3, 2010, he married Michelle Mock on their longest ride to Flagstaff, Arizona.

He was generous, always donating time or money to those in need. In death he donated his corneas to Lions Eyes.

He took great joy in his pets, and reveled in time spent with friends and family.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Frank.

Mike leaves behind his wife, Michelle Hadley; her son, Gregg; mother, Patricia Totsch; Son, Jacob Hadley; daughter, Jessica Hadley; grandchildren, Bryson, Gabriella, Sophia; siblings, Ann Berard, Nancy Hadley, James Hadley, Susan (Dan) Kivimaki, and Thomas Hadley; and so many special nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, at M&M Rental, Hayward, Wisconsin.

That family asks that in lieu of flowers, please remit donations to Hospice.
