Dorothy J. Cooper, age 59 of Lac Courte Oreilles, died Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her home

Dorothy Jean Morrow was born January 8, 1962 in Hayward, Wisconsin, the daughter of Francis and Marie (Cloud) Morrow.

She loved life and spending time with her family, fishing, swimming and sledding with the kids, taking walks, collecting rocks, cooking, decorating for holidays – especially Christmas, loved being in her home and teasing her friends and family.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Darryle; sons William and Francis (Candace) Cooper; daughter Candice (Enrique) Cooper; 12 grandchildren Bailey, Abigail, Adam, Avianna, Sequoia, Joanne, Isaiah, Nia, Braxton, Christopher, Alexandra and Francis Jr.; sister Lori (Arnold) Rice; brother William (Rhonda) Morrow; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Francis & Marie Morrow; daughter Marilu Cooper; sisters Kathryn Miller, Sharon Morrow; niece Sierra Miller; and her beloved fur baby Sadie “Say-Say”.
Midewiwin Funeral Rites will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Chato “Ombishkebines” Gonzalez will officiate. Burial will be in Round Lake Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 13th at Big Drum.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Ryan Cooper, Enrique Miller, Tyler Morrow, Kenneth Rice, James Smith Jr., and Robert Smith.

Casket Bearers will be Donald Morrow, Dustin Morrow, Travis Paffel Sr., Travis Paffel Jr., Arnold Rice Jr., Mitchell Sharlow, Robert Sharlow Sr, and Robert Sharlow Jr.
