Doris Jean Pelch Age 76, of Barron, WI died Friday, June 28, 2019 at her home.

She was born on July 13, 1942 in Three Rivers, Michigan to Robert and Mary (Fontane) Figel. Doris graduated from the Mayville High School in Mayville, Michigan in 1959. She was married to Duane Pelch on October 29, 1960 in Flint, Michigan. Doris was a cake decorator in Ladysmith, WI and then was a in-home baker called The Cake Shoppe. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Doris was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be truly missed because she had so much love for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Duane Pelch of Barron; 3 children, Marianne (David) Robinson of Virginia, Loren Pelch of Haugen, WI and Doug (Gena) Pelch of Ladysmith; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Rena (Walter “Sam”) Diamond, Barb (Lynn) Dann, Chris (Don) Blosser and Rose (John) Osborne; a brother, Jerry (Alice) Figel; a sister-in-law, Gloria Figel; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Duane Scott Pelch; her parents, Robert and Mary Figel; a sister, Elizabeth (Russell) Stinnet; and 2 brothers, Kenneth Figel and William Figel.

Graveside Services will be held at 11AM Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI. Visitation will be held from 930-1030AM Friday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI. Pallbearers - Stephen Callari, Frank Miller, Scott Farkis, John Petras, Colton Pelch and Connor Pelch.
