Donnie Laverne, Wildes, 55, of Barronett passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at home.

Donnie was born July 2, 1966 in Reedsburg WI and raised by his grandparents; Clelly and Helma Wildes, in Old Lime Ridge, WI. He moved to Barronett in 1991 with his father, Don Wildes Sr.

As an adult, Donnie was employed by Ventures Unlimited in Shell Lake. He was fun-loving and particularly enjoyed his baseball card collection and antique books and music.

Donnie is survived by one sister: Tammy Wildes-Hollen of Manitowac, WI; his birth mother: Carol Bergman of Reedsburg, WI; uncle: Lyle Wildes of Duluth, MN; close friend: Chris Rand of New Hope, MN; and his guardian for the last twenty-two years: Dennis Free.

He was preceded in death by his father: Don Wildes Sr. and grandparents: Clelly and Helma Wildes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cumberland American Legion on Saturday, May 28 from 1-4 PM. .
