In Memory of Donald Koch
Donald Stanley Koch, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at his residence in Winter, Wisconsin. He was born July 21, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Ed and Pauline (Brandstetter) Koch. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Marie Lavin on June 10, 1961 in Chicago.
Don attended Crane Trade School where he was trained as a tool and die setter. He worked for many years with Phoenix Closures which manufactured canning lids under the Kerr name.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Koch of Winter, WI; his son, Mark (Robin) Koch of Bolingbrook, IL; a grandson, Adam Koch; his brother, Gary (Donna) Koch of Palos Hills, IL; a son-in-law, Vince Visone of Bourbonnais, IL; and two nephews, Stephen and Robert (Jessica).
In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna (Koch) Visone.
A private interment will be held at a later date in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
