Donald Martin Dietz, age 90, a resident of Voyager Village, Danbury, WI passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his residence.

Donald was born on August 2, 1931 in Sandstone, MN to parents, Martin and Ellen (Larson) Dietz.

Donald grew up in Sandstone, MN and that is where he met the love of his life Karen Krogh. Donald and Karen united in marriage on June 17, 1954 and raised 3 children together.

Donald worked at Cardiac Pacemakers Inc. as the vice president of finance. He was also in the Army and was honorably discharged on February 28, 1962.

Donald enjoyed traveling, golfing, fishing, singing in the church choir, dancing and watching sports on tv, but most of all he loved spending his free time with his family.

Donald was a member of the Voyager Village and Panama City organizations.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Ellen.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Karen Marie; children, David Martin (Michelle) Dietz, Douglas Michael Dietz and Daniel Mark (Renee) Schmidt; grandchildren, Ryan, Mimi, Reed, Nichole, Ashley, Natalie; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:30 pm (visitation at 1:00 pm) at the Lakeside Community Lutheran Church in Webster, WI.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, WI.
