Richard Birger "Dick" Johnson, 94, of Cumberland died Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Care and Rehab-Cumberland.

He was born March 8, 1928 in Cumberland, WI to Birger A and Agnes (Wolke) Johnson.

He is survived by son, Tom (Jeri) Johnson of Wausau; three daughters: Debbie (Harvey) Ott of Rice Lake, Mary Miller of Cumberland, and Julie Johnson of Cumberland; seven grandchildren: Sara (Brian), Matthew (Jennifer), Molly, Michael, Ryan (Britta), Kevin (Sarah), and Erin; 10 great-grandchildren: Brennan, Connor, Cullen, Delaney, Eila, Owen, Griffin, Soren, Everett, and Bryson; his sister, Karen (Lowell) Dague of Cumberland; nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen, brother Harold (Bernice) Johnson, sister Lorraine (Jim) Drake.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at First United Methodist Church, Cumberland with Pastor Mike Brubaker officiating. Burial with full Naval Honors will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Cumberland. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. A livestream will be made available.
