In Memory of Diana J. Schultz
In Loving Memory of Diana J. Schultz
On the morning of September 29, 2023, Diana Jean Schultz passed away at her home in Peoria, Arizona.
Diana was born on August 21, 1939, on the Diede family farm in Lehr, North Dakota to Adam and Barbara (Werth) Diede. She was the fourth of five children.
Diana was married to Leo Buchholz for several years and had 5 children. After her divorce, she remarried in 1977 to Kenneth Schultz of Wisconsin.
During her lifetime, Diana gained valuable skills and experiences from the various companies of employment. From Kings Meat Packing Company in Newport, MN to Sperry Rand Univac in Eagen, MN, her organizational and interpersonal skills grew. After moving to Arizona, Diana worked at Thunderbird Hospital in Glendale, and Xerox Corporation in Phoenix before retiring in 2005, as their top-notch employee.
Diana enjoyed baking and swapping recipes with family and friends, and playing a special board game, “Around the World”, with those who dared to take on her challenge of having a non-stop laughing session with her. She also was an avid “Puzzler” (aka “dissectologist”).
It’s been said that, “It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them.” That is how it will be with Diana – unforgettable.
Diana is survived by her five children, Dale (Vicky) Buchholz, Lincoln, NE, Dallas (Jeannie) Buchholz, Cambria, WI, Dennis Buchholz, Oconto Falls, WI, Don (Diana) Buchholz, Spring Valley, AZ and LeAnn (Shane) Pick, Billings, MT., nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a brother, Ira (Cindy) Diede, Anaconda, MT.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Carlos Diede, Walter Diede and Harley Diede.
