On October 30, 2023, Diana Emily Brookman of Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin passed away from complications of diabetes.

Diana was born in Stillwater, Minnesota on May 20, 1991 to Doug and Linda Brookman. In 2001, Diana’s family relocated to Amery, Wisconsin. Diana graduated from Amery High School in 2009 after which she attended WITC New Richmond for Early Childhood Education. Diana left school to pursue other interests, gathering new friends and loved ones along the way. She eventually landed a sales position at Auto Dealer Supply in Saint Croix Falls, where the customers and employees alike fell for her infectious and bubbly spirit. As Diana found her calling, she also found another tribe of people who adored her. Diana’s free-spirited love of life and the fun it offered brought joy and created bonds wherever she went. Diana will be sorely missed by many.

Diana was preceded in death by her grandparents, Diane Moll, Dale Brookman, and Anita & Jim Buege, and her great-grandparents Emily & Rueben Moll.

Diana is survived by her parents, Doug (Susan) Brookman & Linda Brookman; siblings, Bailey Brookman (Richie Nelson) & Alex Dale (Emily Koch); her beloved nephews, Gavin & Connor; her spoiled fur-baby, Hamilton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In honor of Diana’s battles with diabetes, a memorial may be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at jdrf.org.

In lieu of a funeral, Diana’s ashes will be scattered with a bang via fireworks, per her request. The date is TBD.

A celebration of life for Diana will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 1 to 4 pm at Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, Wisconsin. The family suggests guests wear their favorite Christmas sweater in remembrance of Diana and her indomitable spirit.
