In Memory of Deborah K. Lundquist


July 8, 1955 - October 4, 2023

Debbie Lundquist, 68, of Grantsburg, WI, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Deborah Kay Lundquist was born July 8, 1955 to Percy and Lois (Reineke) Page in Farmington, MN.

She spent her childhood and teen years living in Castle Rock, MN, with her parents and four siblings. After graduating from Northfield High School 1974, she worked briefly in a Northfield nursing home as an assistant and at Poly-Tex, Inc. in Castle Rock. It was while working at Schaper Manufacturing Company in Lakeville, MN, where she met her husband of 48 years, Mark Lundquist. She and Mark were married on May 24, 1975 in Farmington. They lived in Farmington for the first few years of their marriage, having the first three of their four children. Over the next 45 years throughout Mark’s plastic injection molding career, they made nine states their home, some longer than others and some multiple times, had their fourth child, and finally settled in Grantsburg. She enjoyed the company of her schnauzer dogs over the years, engaging with her eight grandchildren, and listening to her favorite music. She loved whale watching off the coast of Gloucester, Massachusetts, and taking walks along the beach when they lived there.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials are welcome as contributions to the family.

She is survived by her husband; sons, David (Andrea) in New Jersey, Scott (Kristina) in Florida; daughters, Stacy (Aaron) Eggersman in Indiana and Chris (Brent) Olander in Minnesota; granddaughters, Samantha, Olivia, Sophia & Noel; grandsons, Oliver, Nathan, Owen and Lincoln; sister, Kathy (Steve) Aldrich; and brothers, Tom (Pat), Jim and Rick (Sarah) Page, all in Minnesota.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023 starting at 11:00 AM at The Foxhole – American Legion Post 185 in Grantsburg, WI. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home.
