Dawn L. Peterson, age 58, a resident of Danbury passed away on February 6, 2023.

Dawn was born in El Paso, TX on April 25, 1964 to Margaret Phillips.

Dawn and Brent were married in September 2007 at the Yellow Lake Lutheran Church in Danbury.

Dawn worked many years as an inventory control specialist for Arden Kitchens and Ryder International. She loved all things plants and nature and loved being an animal mom to numerous cats and dogs. Dawn enjoyed music and attended many rock concerts over the years. She was an avid reader who enjoyed all Stephen King books and loved a challenging crossword puzzle which there wasn’t one she couldn’t solve. Dawn was a master at cribbage, loved dominoes and was always up for a game with anyone willing.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Marge Knudson.

She will be sadly missed by husband, Brent Peterson; daughter, Sarah Dunker, stepson, Jake Peterson, grandchildren, Maxx Hamilton, Brodie Hoffstrom, Silas Hoffstrom; brother, Richard (Jackie) Kirkland; beloved and faithful Rottweiler, Porter; aunt, Pat Loeding; uncles, Andrew Phillips and Gary Phillips; her mother and father in law, Burt and Shirley Peterson; along with other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2-6 PM at Rosemount VFW (2625 120th St. W. Rosemount, MN 55068). Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster. Online condolences can be made at www.swedberg-taylor.com
