In Memory of Darla J. (Solberg) Garner
Darla Jean Garner, 66, of Altoona, Wis., passed away unexpectedly at her home Friday night, Jan. 31.
Darla worked many years for Parker Hannifin in Chetek before retiring. She loved gardening, collecting antiques and autographs, going to garage sales, watching Bob Ross and Gunsmoke, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. Darla had a very tender heart and was known to be “the emotional one.” She had two little dogs and a cat that stuck right by her side at all times.
She is survived by her son, Aaron (Becky Belanger) Miller, of Altoona; two daughters, April Solberg, of Chippewa Falls, and Amanda (Andrew) Seever, of New Richmond; three granddaughters, Jackson, Aaliyah, and Autumn; one sister, Barbara (Kevin) Haller, of New Auburn; and two brothers, Don Solberg, of Colfax, and Brad Solberg, of Palm Springs, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Palmer and Lorraine Solberg; her sister, Linda Anderson; and a nephew, Joshua Turgeson.
A private graveside service will be held in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron.
