Daniel R. Taylor “bemwewishkang” age 75, a resident of Webster passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Spooner Health System.

Daniel was born in Hayward, Wisconsin on February 27, 1948 to Lawrence Taylor and Angeline Oiyotte-Johnson.

Daniel was an avid sports fan, loved to watch it all day on the telly. He was a fervent reader of the old school newspapers and a keen supporter of slot machines.

He was loved and held in the highest regard from everybody that was lucky enough to know him. He had a great sense of humor that kind of set him apart from everyone else.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jonas Bearheart and sisters, Maryann and Victoria.

He will be missed by his nieces and nephews; Vernon Morrison, Vanessa Morrison, Lisa Burkardt, Leslie Billy, Jeromy Lambert and Zachary Howard; along with other relatives and many good friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Croix Tribal Center in Hertel with Mike Taylor and Keller Paap officiating. Interment will follow at Sand Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeromy Lambert, Zachary Howard, Kyle Bauer, Coen Burkhardt, Vernon Morrison, Jacob Weaver and William Barr, III. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Burkhardt, Vincent Barr, Alvin Oustigoff, Joseph Oustigoff, Neil Oustigoff, Mitchell LaSarge and Delbert Benjamin, Sr.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster.
