In Memory of Dan J. Lubensky


August 14, 1939 - May 9, 2024

Daniel James "Dan" Lubensky, 84, of Sarona died on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Heritage Lakeside.

He was born August 14, 1939, in Marshall, MO to Paul H. and Dora E. Lubensky. Dan graduated from high school in Marshall, MO. He then went on to serve a term in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was married in Marshall, MO on September 3, 1965, to Linda (Didier) Lubensky who preceded him in death on March 8, 2011.

Dan and Linda moved to Frankenmuth, MI, where he became regional sales manager for a furniture store. In 1979, they purchased the Marawaraden Resort on Long Lake, which they operated for many decades. Dan and Linda enjoyed many cruises in the Caribbean and around the Hawaiian Isles. Up until recently, Dan drove school bus for over 40 years.

He is survived by his son, Matt Lubensky of Austin, MN; three grandchildren, Kade, Kyra and Kylen Lubensky; numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; brothers: Ralph and Bill Lubensky; sisters: Ruby Bardon, Edna Berry, Helen Blackburn, Annabell Bell, and Mildred Lubensky.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 PM on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake.
