Dale Leroy Erickson, 79, of Barronett died on February 25, 2025, at his home. He was born September 2, 1945, in Shell Lake, WI to Arthur and Wanda (Holiday) Erickson. He met his soon to be wife, Diana Wisner on February 28, 1966 at a local café and later were married on August 13, 1966, in Spooner, WI.

Dale worked from the Union Pacific Railroad for 37 1/2 proud years. He was known as "Pops" to his coworkers; he was the go-to for answers and advice. He was deeply loved by both family and friends. Dale had a heart of gold, a contagious laugh and will be truly missed by all that knew him. His memory will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of his adoring family.

Dale loved being a dad, grandpa and great grandpa. Family meant everything to him.

Dale enjoyed hunting, his Green Bay Packers (when they were winning lol), trekking through the woods, and cutting wood.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Erickson; daughters: LeAnne (Duke) Erickson, and Suzanne (Jason) Erickson; son, Darren Erickson; grandchildren: Justin (Bree), Brittany (Chris), Breanna, Austin (Emmie), and Angel (Roger); great grandchildren: Faith, Blake, Colten, and two on the way; brothers: Arthur (Sherrill) Erickson, Jr., and Gary (Nan) Erickson; sister, Sandra (Dale) Jerry; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy (Lyle) Sullivan.

Private services will be held.
