In Memory of Corky A. Capra
Nicholas Anthony “Corky” Capra, 80, of Cumberland died, October 7, 2022, at Care and Rehab-Cumberland.
He was born September 15, 1942, in Trenton, NJ to Patrick M and Christine (Gidio) Capra.
Corky graduated from Cumberland High School in 1960. During his high school career, Corky was an avid baseball player. His senior year saw his team winning the Heart of the North Championship. Corky’s love for baseball throughout his life. He worked at 3M and in retired in 2000 after 37 years.
He was married in Pine City, MN on August 27, 1964, to Andi Kahl and together they shared 58 wonderful years.
Corky enjoyed listening to music for hours on end, and watching ball games. Most of all he cherished hunting with his sons.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea Capra; sons, Derrick (Ann) Capra of Springbrook, and Darren Capra of McGrath, MN; daughter, Diane (Dan) Clinton of Spokane, WA; granddaughters: Nicole Capra of Jacksonville, FL, and Kelly Clinton of Denver, CO; grandsons: Tony, Joe Capra of Brooklyn Park, MN, and Joey Clinton of Seattle, WA; and many other family and friends. Corky was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Gloriann Capra.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Parish Hall of St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Tom Thompson officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour before the service. Following the burial there will be a luncheon served at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers memorial can be given to a charity of your choice.
