In Memory of Constance J. Taylor
Constance “Connie” J. Taylor, age 62, a resident of Webster passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Connie was born on September 10, 1960 in Frederic to Perry and Arlene (Schultz) Anderson.
For those that know Connie, you will appreciate the following obituary she wrote herself.
First of all In Heaven there is no beer that is why I drank it here! “Cheers”
I was blessed with a family with so much love for each other. We had no indoor plumbing or bathroom but that cow trough we hauled in for bath time bonded us for life.
My dad, Perry, passed away in 1990 and I miss him everyday since. He was the kindest man on the planet, loved unconditionally, huge animal lover, witty and great humor. By the way, I’m his favorite daughter.
My mom, Arlene, still living, she is the hardest working woman on the planet. She would squirrel away $5.00 out of each check to make sure we had a Christmas. Thanks mom. Oh, and I’m her favorite daughter.
My hubby, Big John, married me right out of high school on June 3, 1978. I was 17 at the time but how could I not, he was irresistible. He was bigger than life and a generous man. Jesus needed a hero in 2020 and chose him. By the way, I’m his favorite wife, okay I was his only wife of 42 years.
Our children, my most treasured accomplishments, Erica Lynn born in 1980, best daughter and friend. We hang out all the time, text and talk daily. So proud of her, she’s kinda like Auntie Trish and she loves hugs so feel free to hug the shit out of her. I’m her favorite mom.
My son, Steven John born in 1983. Steve is funny, has a sense of humor, it’s an Anderson thing. A great son and father don’t forget to laugh with Erica. He worked with our company, not an easy task, many thanks baby boy. He says I’m his favorite mom.
Erica and Steve blessed us with 9 grandchildren, Anna, our only granddaughter, born first then Alex, Seth, Josh, Damien, Mason, Cashton, Knox, and Krew. They are my life and I’ll love them eternally. I’ll put a big write up in next week’s paper to brag about their lovely personalities, kidding. Words cannot do them justice. All of them say I’m their favorite Grammie.
My siblings, older sister, Debbie we had some good times in her canary yellow grand Torino Ford with our sidekick Pauline. Ol’ Sporty’s days, which I still remain friends with many of them this still to this day. I’m her favorite sister.
Little brother, David; we had so much fun playing cars and maybe Barbies, but that was a long time ago like in our 20’s, just kidding. He fell out of a moving car, maybe seen a ditch or two, man of 9 lives, I think he’s a cat. Don’t ever eat liver, just ask David. I’m his favorite sister.
Little baby Teri, I can’t tell you how similar we are, sometimes I think she’s me only she doesn’t look like me, and I never ate slugs. (Now forever she has to tell that story.) Don’t thank me, it’s a conversation starter. I am of course her favorite sister.
My cousins, let’s just say they are all completely crazy and I have too many to name them all. But crazy they are, and I know this because it runs in the family. I’m their favorite cousin.
My friends, I’m lucky to have so many, but everyone knows my besties, Trish, Jamie, Earl and Jackie. I’ve been their third wheel for awhile now and that’s just the way we roll. I love you bitches to the moon and back. Heck yeah, I’m their favorite crazy friend.
Here are my parting words, life can be short so love deeply, laugh when possible and often. Spoil those kids and grandkids with attention and your time, I’ll miss that!
