We are deeply saddened to share news of the sudden, unexpected passing of Chrissy (Bengtson) Carlson on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Turtle Lake, WI.

She leaves behind husband, Eric, and daughter, Robin, of Frederic; parents James and Deborah Bengtson of Frederic; sisters Michelle Bengtson of Frederic, and Sarah (Aaron) Bengtson-Harvey of Roy, WA.

Chrissy was a very loving, idealistic, and empathetic person. She found her greatest joy in helping others, providing physical and emotional support for those in need, and championing causes of justice and equality both at home and abroad.

Please join her family in a celebration of life at Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic, WI, from 3 to 5 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024. The celebration will continue afterwards at the Friendly Tavern in Frederic. Let's come together and share our favorite memories of this kind and generous soul we’ve lost too soon.
