Chancie David "Chance" Farlow, 48, of Barronett, passed unexpectedly on Friday, September 8, 2023.

He was born March 2, 1975, in Cumberland, WI to Chance and Carol (Bethke) Farlow.

Chance grew up on the family farm helping with chores. He graduated from Cumberland High School. After high school, he worked at McCains Foods in Rice Lake, Lakeland Steel in Cumberland, custom combining fields around the county, and driving tanker trucks for Revline in Centura.

Chance was a jack of all trades and loved tinkering on various projects. He was deeply loved by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Jessica (Mick Hiber) Farlow; two nephews: Jimmie and Kristy Mehalek; great nieces and nephews: Mason Gilbert, Ryder Keller, Neveah Keller, Tyson Christiansen, and Kinsley Mehalek; many aunts and uncles; and other family and friends. Chance was preceded in death by his parents, Chance and Carol Farlow; grandparents: Tyrus and Ruth Farlow, and other family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Cumberland Baptist Church with Pastor Jared Andrea officiating. Burial will be in the Family Homestead. Pallbearers are Jimmie Mehalek, Mike Keller, and Troy Christiansen. Honorary pallbearers are Mason Gilbert, Ryder Keller, Neveah Keller, Tyson Christiansen, and Kinsley Mehalek. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday, September 15, 2023, and one hour before the service.
