Catherine (Cathy) Ann Buhl of Milltown, WI & Mission, TX, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the age of 84.

Cathy was born on August 13, 1938, to Walter and Johanna Swanson in Rochester, MN.

Cathy married Peter Buhl on July 27th, 1957. Cathy and Peter had 5 daughters and raised their family in Stillwater, MN. They were happily married for 65 years. Cathy took pride in her family and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. She was a cheerleader for her adult daughter's softball team, the best babysitter to her grandchildren, a cook for countless family meals, a coordinator of family camping trips and a loving wife and best friend to her husband

Cathy enjoyed reading, playing cards, listening to music, spending time with family, and most of all listening to Peter sing karaoke. In her retirement, she enjoyed her winters at El Valle Del Sol in Mission, TX where she planned many events and made many life-long friendships.

Cathy is preceded in death by her daughters, Kimberly Buhl and Mary Ann Kroker, son-in-law, Paul Kroker and grandson, Paul Lodahl. She is survived by her husband, Peter Buhl, daughters, Jan (Chris) Lodahl, Pamela (Paul) Goulet and JoAnne (Ken) Bernardin, 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, siblings, Janet (Micky) Stenberg, David (Cathy) Swanson, Robert (Rose) Swanson, Richard (Kathy) Swanson and Patricia (Doug) Eslinger and many nieces and nephews.

Cathy will be missed by all who knew her. Her spirit, her caring personality, her laughter and her love for her husband, family and friends will forever be remembered. A celebration of life will be held at Ready Randy’s in New Richmond, WI on January 8th, 2023 from 12 – 4.
