In Memory of Bud A. Moe


June 11, 1947 - March 23, 2024

Ellis “Bud” A. Moe, age 76, of Barron passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

He was born on June 11, 1947 to Elroy and Helen (Jones) Moe. Bud married the love of his life, Jodi Fletcher, on May 15th, 1971 in Cameron. Bud was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bud was an amazing man of God who shared his faith in Jesus with everyone he met. He had a big heart, loved people and had a passion for helping people. He was creative, enjoyed working on many different projects and redoing the inside of old cars and boats. Bud had many loves including mentoring families, being the caretaker at the campground, working at the Marina, talking about his time in Haiti as a missionary, his Foursquare Church family and most of all his beautiful wife, Jodi and his family.

Bud is survived by his loving wife, Jodi; children, Joe (Lenny), Charity (Lee Johnson), Ray (Amy) and Rony (Grishelda) Moe Valme; mother, Helen; grandchildren, Asiah, Aleeya (Gabe), Kendall, Fletcher, Dominic, Asher, Lachlann and Liander; brothers, Jim, Jesse (Glory), Steve (Colleen), Carey (Char), Bob (Terri) and Jon (Amy); sisters, Judy Lammers and Joan (Lyle) Sandberg; sister-in-law, Tammie Moe; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Tony, Mick and Paul; sisters, Ruth Marie and Abbie Moe; brother-in-laws, Dick Lammers and Brian Wiseman; and sister-in-law, Carol Moe.

A funeral service for Bud will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Foursquare Gospel Church in Barron. Visitation will be from 11:00 until 1:00 at the church before the service. Burial will be at Wayside Cemetery in Barron.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral home in Barron.
