Bryon Kenneth Nickence, age 65, of New Post, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023.

Bryon was born January 8, 1958, in Hayward, WI the son of George O’Shogay and Cecelia Nickence.

He is survived by his brother Adrian Nickence; sisters Wavern Ramsey & Gretchen Nickence; nephews & nieces.

Bryon was preceded in death by his parents; brother Stanley Nickence, John Nickence & Steven Nickence; and sister Yvonne Nickence.

Tribal Funeral Rites will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at New Post Community Center. Gary Quaderer Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in New Post Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21st at New Post Community Center.

Honorary casket bearers will be Sam “Cootie” Bearheart, Loren Pewash, Rose Ramsey & Laurel Sutton.

Casket bearers will be Ryan Bunker Jr., Mike Decora, Eric Peterson, Thomas Smith Jr., Gary Tainter & Pat Tainter.
