In Memory of Brandon J. Staves
Brandon Staves, age 37, of Cameron passed away at his home unexpectedly on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
He was born at Cumberland Hospital on April 4, 1985 to Roland and Patsy (Grensing) Staves.
He attended Prairie Farm High School and graduated in 2004. He was a Whey Plant Secondary Starter for Saputo Cheese in Almena.
Brandon's strong will gave him the heart to overcome any obstacle that life brought him. He never showed you his cards, but when he played them, you knew he played them for you. To those who knew him, most will remember him by that coyish smirk he would show every time you were [always] on the receiving side of his joke or whenever you managed to [rarely] reciprocate his masterful comebacks. His dedicated and enthusiastic energy whenever the Green Bay Packers played ANYONE. [Aaron Rogers is the GOAT]. His unique interests in all things heavy metal. His unconditional love he had for his wife to-be, "Gmfy". But above all, his absolute admiration and respect that he had for his two growing sons. Knowing them was the only time he knew himself. He was so proud.
He is survived by his wife-to-be, Gabrielle Fuller of Cameron; two sons, Spencer of Phoenix, AZ and Shawn Staves of Apple Valley, MN; mother, Patsy Staves of Prairie Farm; his Irish twin sister, Jamie Staves; nephew, Clay Staves, both of Prairie Farm; as well as aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roland; grandparents, Roger and Estella Staves; and his great-grandmother, Mary McManus.
Please join the family in celebrating Brandon’s life and attend his funeral service on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Foursquare Gospel Church in Barron. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Wayside Cemetery in Barron.
