In Memory of Brandon J. Corbine
Brandon Joseph Corbine, age 23, of Lac Courte Oreilles, died Saturday, December 17, 2022.
Brandon was born May 4, 1999, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Brandi Corbine and Roger Skippingday Sr.
His love for cooking began at Treeland Resorts where he spent three continuous summers. Brandon then ventured over to Powell’s on Round Lake where he continued his passion in cooking. He was always so appreciative of his dollar raises that he so very well deserved. The one thing that Brandon was most passionate about was being an uncle. He loved to hunt and enjoyed hanging out with his cousins.
He is survived by his father Roger; sisters Shaylena Corbine, Nikki Bigsmoke & Rachael Bigsmoke; brother Roger Skippingday Jr; grandparents Rick Denomie, Roberta Corbine & Cecelia Skippingday; aunt Tricia; nephews & nieces Owen, Khaleesi “Keke” & Landon; cousins Anthony, Aliah, Kyra & Dorothea; cousins from Bemidji and Detroit.
Brandon was preceded in death by his mother Brandi; uncle Chris Corbine; aunt Maria Denomie; and many other relatives.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022, at St. Francis Solanus Indian Mission in Reserve. Father Karunakar Madanu will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21st at Pineview Funeral Service in Hayward.
Honorary casket bearers will be Bonzo Denomie, Gary Hart, Heather Hove & Anthony White.
Casket bearers will be Andrew Barber, Shane Corbine, Demetri Dennis, Dylan LaFave, Taj Soros, James Wolfe & Javier Yanez.
