In Memory of Bobbi Momchilovich


June 23, 1950 - October 25, 2024

Barbara, Bobbi, Momchilovich was born on June 23, 1950 in Barron, Wisconsin where she grew up. Bobbi attended UW-Stout where she earned a degree in home economics education and taught in Barron and Cumberland school districts. She went on to receive her master’s in counseling, EdS degree, and worked as Cumberland High School’s guidance counselor through the end of her career.

While in college, Bobbi met the love of her life, Terry Momchilovich of Cumberland. Bobbi and Terry enjoyed 52 years of marriage and raised two beautiful girls, Joelle and Jacki. Through Joelle Olson (Eric) and Jacki Bieganski (Ryan), Bobbi was blessed with four granddaughters, Ava (6) & Eden (3) and Cameron (3) & Jordan (1) who brought her immeasurable joy.

In addition to her rich family life and successful career, Bobbi was a devoted community leader of numerous organizations. She was a tireless champion of education, faith, youth, and women. Bobbi was very active and enjoyed bowling, golfing, cross-country skiing, and gardening. She was a talented quilter, crafter, cook, and baker. She forged lasting relationships near and far through the chapters of her life, enriched through her passion for world travel, namely Paris, Amsterdam, Sweden, and South Korea. Bobbi was a dynamic, progressive, influential wife, mother, grandmother, educator, leader, community member, and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Bobbi was preceded in death by her father, Verl Maas (2012) and mother, Violet Maas (1990). She is survived by her husband Terry, daughters Joelle Olson (Eric), Jacki Bieganski (Ryan), granddaughters Ava, Eden, Cameron, Jordan, brother Rick Maas (Theresa), and sister Cindy Maas.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 1, 2024, at First Lutheran Church in Cumberland with Pastor Timothy Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
