Billy John Sobralski, age 40, of Winter, WI, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at his home.

Billy was born on May 16, 1983, in Spooner, WI, and raised by his mother, Rhonda Sobralski.

Billy attended school for many years in Winter but went on to graduate from Spooner High School. Billy had a passion and talent for cooking which led to him taking courses at Le Cordon Bleu. He worked at many local restaurants but especially loved his time working at Dix’s Chalet. Billy was married to the love of his life, Klay Hammann, on December 6, 2023, in a dual wedding/vow renewal with his sister Ashley and brother-in-law, Darrel. Billy enjoyed volunteering his time in the community and in the senior center and in his free time he enjoyed relaxing and playing video games.

Billy was an amazing and deeply caring person. He was a wonderful and loving husband, son, brother, and uncle.

Billy is survived by his husband, Klay Hammann; mother, Rhonda Sobralski; sisters, Ashley Peters and Lacey (David Brown) Karow (Hill); nephews, Pheonix, Noah, Skylar, and Castiel; nieces, Natasha and Maci; father-in-law, Bill Hammann; brother-in-law, Klint (Kelly) Hammann and their son, Aiden; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is joined in death within 24 hours of his good friend and brother-in-law, Darrel Peters; and his grandmother Ellie.

A celebration of life will be held at Patti’s on 70, in Winter, WI, on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 3:00PM to 8:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Hayward Funeral Home in care of Billy's family, or a donation can be made to your local animal shelter.
