Beverly Mae Schutts, age 94, of Almena, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Monroe Manor in Barron.

She was born on May 20, 1929 to Harry and Ollie (Kelm) Froehner in Stillwater, Minnesota.

She married Bill Roettger on June 6, 1947 and they lived mostly in Stillwater until moving to Barron in 1984. Bill passed away in 1995.

On September 29, 1996 she married Eugene Schutts in Barron.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene; son, Gary (Judy) Roettger; daughter-in-law, Wendy Roettger; grandchildren, Jeff (Susie) Roettger, Tami (Jim) Philips, Cari Van Hecke, Alyssa (Carl) Nelson, Kayla (Ed) Percy and Kayleen (Jason) Weber; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; step-children, Scott (Teresa) Schutts and Jenniefer Schutts-Stone; as well as 2 step-grandchildren..

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bill Roettger; son, Alan Roettger; and great-grandson, Hunter Percy.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Arland Lutheran Church in Arland. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday morning. Interment will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota next year.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
