In Memory of Beverly L. Conoboy


May 22, 1933 - August 10, 2023

Beverly L. Conoboy, 90, Barron, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.

Beverly was born May 22, 1933 to Anton Hopp and Lena (Strastos) in Hayward. Martin was born March 5, 1929 to Patrick Conoboy and Sarah (Connely) in Stone Lake.

They were married on December 15, 1952, at Hayward. Martin was a Sgt in US Army Korea and together they raised 7 children. They were married for 71 years.

Beverly was an avid crocheter, loved watching and feeding her birds, singing and listening to her classic country music, loved her dogs and giving treats to her family’s dogs, and visiting with family and friends.

Surviving are their children, Neil (Nancy) Conoboy of Stillwater, MN, Colleen (John) Lundquam of Barron, Noreen Johnson of Barron, Mike (Dixie) Conoboy of Chetek, Steve (Jodie) Conoboy of Barron, James (Marilyn Kuehndorf) of Range and Dean Conoboy of Reedsburg; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; as well as many loved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin; grandson, Bradley; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

A celebration of her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16 at Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Following the service, a luncheon at Park Lawn Community Center, 123 East Franklin Avenue in Barron will be held.

A burial ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, N4063 Veterans Way near Spooner.

Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron.
