Beverly Jo Kohn, 84, of Turtle Lake died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Cumberland Healthcare.

She was born November 2, 1937 in Algona, IA to Evered and Helen Kauffman) Bryant.

She was raised in Iowa and graduated from Emmetsburg High School in 1955. She married Eugene Nemeth on April 18, 1955 and of that union had two children, Patricia and Michael Nemeth. Gene and Bev lived in Mississippi, Oklahoma, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Arizona, California and Minnesota while he served in the US Air Force. In 1967, she graduated from cosmetology school in Mississippi. They eventually moved to Wisconsin in 1974 where they purchased the Staples Lake Tavern in Comstock. They later divorced and sold the bar. She was married at First Lutheran Church, Cumberland, WI on September 24, 1977 to David Kohn, and in 1981 they brought daughter, Kristen into the world.

She is survived by her three children, Patricia Comer and Mike (Darlene) Nemeth, both of Barron, and Kristen (Travis) Lowe of Turtle Lake; Her grandchildren, Lisa (John Allen) Deaton, Elena (Bryan) Demarah, Monique (Luis) Espinosa, Jennifer (Matthew) LoRusso, Jessica (John) Kowalik, Keenan (Alexis) Nemeth, Kelly Cecka and Michael Cecka; Her great grandchildren, Dawn, Ian, Joaquin, Derrick, Kyle, Isabella, Matthew, Landyn, Logyn, Lylah, Damon, Amelia, Izzak and Kierra; her brother, William Bryant of Indianola, IA; nieces, nephews, many cousins, other relatives and friends. Her husband, David preceded her in death on November 2, 2008.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Skinner Funeral Home in Turtle Lake on Friday November 12th.
