Betty Ann Steeg, age 60, a resident of Grantsburg, WI passed away suddenly after a lengthy battle with illnesses on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her residence with her loved ones by her side.

Betty was born on December 19, 1960 in Siren, WI to parents Lloyd and Minnie (Kruithoff) Steeg.

Betty was the salutatorian when she graduated from Webster High School in 1980. Betty graduated from college in 1986 from UW River Falls with her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and art.

For over 30 years, Betty entered in fairs and did pencil drawing and art sculpting. She was an active member of the Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting various toys throughout her lifetime. Betty and her twin sister Barb owned and operated Barb & Betty’s Shop in Grantsburg, WI from 2009 until 2012.

Betty is preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Minnie; and great-grand niece, Kaylee Steeg.

She is survived by her twin sister, Barbara Steeg; brothers, Cary (Elaine) Steeg, Wes Steeg; nephews, Tim, Barry, Shawn; great-grand nieces and nephews; along with many other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10:00 – 11:00 am) at Grace Baptist Church in Grantsburg, WI.
