Bernard J. Tworek, age 89, of Hayward, WI passed away on January 1, 2023, at his home.

On January 24, 1976, Bernard was joined in marriage to Kathy Loebaka in Winter, WI. Bernard and Kathy purchased the Moccasin Bar in Hayward on June 15, 1978, which they still operate.

Bernard is survived by his wife, Kathy; three children, Rose Marie Pelfrey of Choctaw, OK, Verle (Jean) Tworek of Elk Mound, WI, Bruce (Kim) Tworek of Fair Oaks, CA; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two stepbrothers, Frank Petit or Rice Lake, WI, Ron Petit of Winter, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Tworek; mother, Mary Tworek; stepmother, Florence Tworek; two sisters, Dorothy and Connie; one brother, Edward.

A celebration of life gathering will be held for Bernard at a later date.
