Barbara Carlean Simpson passed away peacefully at home on June 14, 2024.

Barbara was born April 1, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI to parents Elroy and Pearl Wudtke.

She was a graduate of Hayward High School. She married Willard Simpson on May 25, 1963, recently celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary. Barbara was a housekeeper and homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, fishing, hunting, watching the wildlife and especially spending time with her cats and family. She will be deeply missed by everybody she loved. She played a significant role in raising her grandchildren. Barb and Will raised her brother Gary, when he was just a teenager, after their mother passed away in 1969.

She was preceded in death by her Parents Elroy and Pearl Wudtke, Brothers Wayne, Larry and Gary Wudtke, Mother-in-Law Edith Solomon, Father-in-Law Leon Simpson, Brother in Laws Lyle and Henry Simpson, Sister-in-Law Rose Simpson, Son in Law Cameron “String” Fraley, many Cousins, Uncles and Aunts dear to her.

She is survived by her husband Willard Simpson, Brother-in-Law Kenneth (Kathy) Simpson, Sister-in-Law Laurie Wudtke, Daughter-in-Law Toni Allaback, Children Sandra Fraley (Ken Goodiel), Kathleen (Randall) Scribner, Randall (Sandra) Simpson. Grandchildren Angela (Jason) Larson, Kendra (Anthony) Payette, Ryan (Nicole) Fraley, Dylan (Katelynn) Simpson, Justin Simpson. Great Grandchildren Alex Larson, Austin Larson, Kenzie Payette and Nolan Simpson.

Services will be held Friday, June 28th at 1pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Lampson, WI.
