In Memory of Arlen Bylander
Arlen James Bylander, 66, of Eureka, WI passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
He was born on October 18, 1955 in Saint Paul, MN to Lowell and Adella Bylander. He grew up on the family farm.
He married Cindy and together they had two children, Melinda and Lindsay.
Arlen worked construction and even had his own excavating business at one time, but he always loved farming. He spent many years crop farming with his father and continued farming on his own after that. He also enjoyed raising a few beef cows from time to time.
In the early 80’s he spent his time going to truck pulls with his truck named “The Reverend.” He collected many trophies and fun memories from this time of his life.
He really enjoyed deer hunting and was a lifetime member of the NRA which he was very proud of. He also liked going for drives to look at wildlife and all the farm fields in the area.
Arlen was a social magnet and loved to spend time with friends and family talking about farming and hunting. He had many friends from all walks of life. He loved to tease and joke with everyone. He always had a funny story to tell.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; his daughters, Lindsay, Melinda (Jack); granddaughters, Bailee, Hannah, and Emma; brothers, Larry and Dexter Bylander; sister, Jeanne Gouker; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends.
There will be a memorial visitation/gathering held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Grantsburg, WI.
Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg.
