Anna M. Mustache, age 66, of Hayward, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI.

Anna Marie Heath was born September 19, 1955, in Keshena, WI, the daughter of Roger Annamitta and Sadie Wauposse.

She is a proud graduate of the Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS. Anna worked at various LCO Enterprises, most recently she retired from the Sevenwinds Casino. She loved spending time with her only grandson Evan.

She is survived by her husband Lyle Mustache; daughter Shelby Heath; grandson Evan Heath; father Roger; the Barber Family; siblings Louise (Gary) Varga, Sonja Petonquot, Victoria Stone & Hope Waupoose; special friend Anna Merritt.

Anna was preceded in death by her mother Sadie; and siblings Regina Annamitta, Vanessa Stone & Albert Waupoose III.

Tribal Funeral Rites will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Big Drum Ceremonial Center in Lac Courte Oreilles. Chato “Ombishkebines” Gonzalez will officiate. Burial will be in Round Lake Cemetery. Services will begin at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7th at Big Drum Ceremonial Center with a feast being held at 8:00 p.m..

Honorary casket bearers will be Lonnie Barber, Douglas Coffman Sr., Daniel Grover, Joe Post Grover, Carmilla Mustache & Donald Trepania.

Casket bearers will be Terry Barber, Jason Carley, Steven Clause, Douglas Coffman Jr., Samuel Gonzalez & Will Rice.
