Ann (Ferrin) Gruenhagen, age 86, of Spooner,WI, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 4, 2023.

Ann was born on July 7, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to John and Merle (Stubbs) Ferrin.

She grew up in the Wayzata area, graduated from Orono High School, and attended Northwestern Bible College. In 1958, she was united in marriage to Richard Stelling in Wayzata. Three children were blessed to this union. In 1979, she was united in marriage to Arnold Gruenhagen. They lived in the Twin Cities and Two Harbors areas until Arnold’s death in 1991. After his death, Ann moved to the Spooner area in 1996. Ann loved studying the Bible, praying for family and friends, and being a homemaker for her family. She also enjoyed reading, knitting, sewing, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her children: Cynthia (Brian) Olson of Crystal, MN, Richard (Alicia) Stelling of Spooner, WI, Joy Gruenhagen of Spooner, WI, 7 grandchildren: Bryce, John, Lillian, Frank, Dale, Thomas, Elizabeth, and another grandchild on the way, sister Judy (Douglas) Clark of San Diego, CA, sister-in-law Jean Ferrin of Chanhassen, MN, and many other nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, brothers Frank and Russ, and sister-in-law Ginger.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Adventure Church in Siren, WI at 1:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior.
