Anita Louise Stanke, age 76, of Clayton passed away on July 22, 2024 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN, surrounded by her family. She was born March 12, 1948 to Reuben and Basilia (Diez) DelCastillo.

She was married to Robert Stanke, who preceded her in death just months ago, on February 22, 2024.

Anita had the gift of gab - she loved talking on the phone, to anyone, for as long as they would listen. She also enjoyed music and watching movies. The girls recall her giving nature, as she was always eager to send a donation, regardless of whatever her own situation may be.

Anita is survived by daughters, Maria Stanke (Jim), and Tina Michalec (Jaime); grandsons Robert Michalec (Angel) and Chance Gaffney (Madyson); aunt and uncle, Felix (Vera); as well as many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by husband, Robert Stanke; parents, Reuben and Basilia DelCastillo; and brothers, Mario and David.
